The developer Infinity Ward was created from the developers of Medal of Honor, who then spawned the Call of Duty franchise that has taken the FPS world by storm. With the highly successful Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Medal of Honor has fallen far behind the competition for historical and modern shooters.

In the fall of 2010, EA strikes back at its former employees with the release of the simplistically titled Medal of Honor, a game taking place in the current war in Afghanistan. The plot will follow US special forces in the conflict, while multiplayer will be supported by Digital Illusions, the developer behind Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Wow... this is just funny, and annoying.

When CoD went modern, my thought was 'at least I still get my WWII lovin from MoH'. Bahh.

It's funny because in those days, EA was the megapublisher. Now Activision is making Call of Duty and they've overthrown EA. Just seems like EA is desperately trying to take it all back.

    Bahahaha.

    Go, EA, go!

This reminds me of that Rising Sun game they made a hash of.
